She completed her PhD at Trakya University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Child Health and Diseases Nursing in 2021, on using interactive mobile applications to manage chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in pediatric oncology patients. She was an observer at the IRCCS Institute Giannina Gaslini-Italy / Pediatric Oncology clinic in 2016 and the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Pediatric Oncology clinic in London, England, in 2019. After her Ph.D.,   she worked as an assistant professor at Koç University’s Nursing Faculty since 2022. She has worked in the Oncology Nursing Association, Pediatric Oncology Nursing Working Group since 2016. She has been a member of the European Oncology Nursing Society since 2021 and the International Society of Pediatric Oncology Nursing Working Group since 2022.
